(Re)generateTypePublication
Regenerate is a quarterly print magazine on graphic and typographic design. Concentrating on hierarchy, grids, typesetting and craft, the aim of the publication was to  celebrate ‘seminal and contemporary design essays and encourage a renaissance in graphic design criticism and to elevate the international significance of the original writing. The audience was visually literate design students, professional designers in the early part of their career, together with type aficionados of all ages world-wide. I took a more analgue approach to this brief, pairing texture and handwritten type with thoughtful typesetting and grid structures, which aimed to make these ‘seminal design essays’ more approachable and human.
